Emergency Notification of Parents

Today we were notified of police activity within the city. Our emergency procedures were enacted, and as a precaution parents were notified of a delayed dismissal via Teleparent. At approximately 1:50 pm we received confirmation from the sheriff's department that we were not in an area of concern, and parents were notified by a second Teleparent call for regular dismissal. School remains the safest place for children and the teachers and staff have procedures in place for the students' safety. As a reminder, Teleparent calls and our school website are available tools for notification of all activities related to the school.
