Dear Parents,

 

You may have received a letter in the mail stating that your child owes a math and science textbook. Unfortunately, the letter went out before I walked the students over to the library to return both of these books.  Hence, all students returned these textbooks already. I sincerely apologize for any concern this may have caused.

Es posible que haya recibido una carta en el correo indicando que su hijo debe un libro de matemáticas y ciencias. Les pido disculpa por que la carta se mandó antes de que yo haya llevado a los estudiantes a la biblioteca para regresar a ambos libros. Por lo tanto, todos los estudiantes ya devolvieron estos libros de texto. Una vez mas, le pido disculpas sinceramente por cualquier preocupación que esto pueda haber causado.

La fecha para entregar pedidos es el lunes, 27 de marzo. Gracias por su apoyo!

Reminder: The 4th grade students will perform on Thursday, Feb. 23. Students should come dressed in their "costume" on that morning ready to perform. After the performance for student body, students should change into their uniforms. 

 

In the evening, students should come again dressed in their "costume" and ready to perform by 4:45 pm. The evening performance begins at 5:00 pm. 

 

Reminder: This Friday, Nov. 18, our class will participate in a field trip to Pomona College. Students will see a School House Rock production. We will leave immediately after taking attendance so please ensure that your child get to class on time with his/her lunch.  Thank you! 

Reminder: Water bottles are welcome in my class, especially on very hot days. Please remember that other drinks such as Gatorade, Vitamin Water, punch, sodas, etc. are not permitted.  

Welcome students and parents to the 2016-2017 school year! I am excited to meet all of you and establish positive relationships.  Please remember that class begins at 8:15 am and that our first Wednesday, August 17, is NOT a Modified Day.  I look forward to seeing all of my students in their uniforms to school.

 

Also, unfortunately, I won't be present at the school wide Back-to-School Night which is taking place on Aug. 25.  I will, however, open my class on Tuesday, Aug. 30 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. in room 16 to introduce classroom policies and procedures. I apologize in advance for any inconvenience.
